Hi John I had an old Dremel that lasted for 10 years of hard use. As soon as they started screwing around with the design of it, they lasted a year at best. Is there a such thing as a good Dremel model now? I've been using a Minicraft drill and stand for PCB drilling for some years, they are similar to Dremel. Proxxon drills have a good reputation, but are more expensive. The Professional Drill Grinder IB/E looks pretty good: http://www.chronos.ltd.uk/acatalog/index.html?http%3A//www.chronos.ltd.uk/acatalog/Proxxon_Tools.html&CatalogBody I might get myself one. Leon
