Since you asked....

The mystery kid in question seems to have vanished. It all started
shortly after opening his on-line store to sell his products. After
selling a few items, he sort of vanished from the lists. Then several
people started posting about how they paid for products but never
received them - this was posted in HIS yahoo group. After a while, he
then re-appeared to say that he would refund the money if they wanted
a refund. Since then he hasn't been seen at all in the groups.

I am so glad that you benefited so much from him - many others believe
they have as well. However, there are a number of sayings that seemed
to have fit this situation...

"You can B.S. some of the people some of the time, but you can't B.S.
all of the people all of the time"

"Buyer beware"

As for my shortcomings, well perhaps you could enlighten me :-)

Chris

their own shortcomings. I for one have benefited enormously from the
contributions of the person being jibed at in this dia-tribe. I note
that he has not posted on this list in 8 months and on his own list in
4 months. Can anyone on that side of the pond ascertain whether he is
OK?
