Either is aggressive against polystyrene. For instance, those white foam expanded polystyrene cups cannot survive PGA (as if anybody could stand to drink it straight). I have gotten away from the denatured stuff due to the stink. I buy bottles of PGA (Everclear) and use it for flux cleaning. I pay the outrageously high tax on it that way, but I use so little, it is much easier to do that than to buy it from a chemical supplier.
