I am wanting to try it. Will order a uv led next couple of days and try some expsures etc. I saw the article on the UV Led light box in an English mag and thats where I came up with the idea. May be simply able to place in a tube and use a hole at the end with a pin hole. For me, I have no time limit so if it did it over night, I would be happy.... You can only focus UV light just as much as you can focus visible light, but there are cheap lasers that emit light in the UV range. I believe the lasers used in DVD players emit light in the UV range, but don't quote me on that. I recently saw a few articles on using UV leds to expose photoresist type boards and have to admit, I have tried various methods and am going to try this one. I also did a quick search in this list archives before starting this thread. I was wondering in one could concentrate the UV light from a LED via a lens like in the laser pointers and create a pin point uv light. Then, in making a CNC type machine (yes I belong to the cnc groups as well) use this method to simply draw the tracks onto the board directly. One would have to create a test run every sop often but I wouldn't mind seeing anyone elses posts if they have tried this.
