The first thing is finding out what error this light may be.
If you have a manual, look there, if not, find one.
For printers there are usually users and service manuals like for most  
stuff, the user manual should be enought to find out what the light is  
trying to say.
The places to look at for the manuals are the manufacturer homepage,  
<http://www.eserviceinfo.com/>, and google.
