The C8x and C6x series, and the all-in-ones that use the same cartridge, are a real problem with the OEM Durabrite inks. Epson put a lot of chemistry into getting a pigmented ink that would work on glossy paper, sadly it seems to dry -really- hard. I have not noticed an unusual number of complaints when using 3rd party inks. Steve Greenfield
