I was thinking also that might be it. When i make more pictures of the printer i will throw in a syringe - hopefully finally tomorrow. BTW i found my printer has all the cal parameters set to zero (and by far not ideal). Does this mean the guy at epson decided he'd rather have a longer break or is it normal that they don't adjust them printers? ST
