Which laminator? Does it have a temp control? If so, it should be set on Foil or whatever is the hottest setting. If it does not have a temp control, then I can almost guarantee it will never get hot enough. "Foil" is specifically supposed to be hot enough to melt toner for those laser foil transfers.
