There doesn't seem to be anything there that is different to normal pcb etching except for the thin metal sheet included in the kit. It will be cheaper to buy the neccesary stuff seperately. If want to make metal parts using this method, remember that you can also make aluminium parts using sodium hydroxide as the etchant. There are probably other metal/etchant combinations that work just as well.
