Hello, I've got an OLD HP Laserjet series II, with a font cartridge even. I've been gonna tear it up for parts to use/play with, but also kept it thinking it might have some "better" capability for toner transfer, compared to newer laserjet printers... But it's likely only 300DPI, so even with the straight paper path, and even though I can get drivers and cartridges reasonably, is it at all worth keeping? IOW, is there some thing that these older laser printers do "better" or are my newer HP 1100's gonna be equal or superior in every way? Figured you guys have tried to do so many different things with these beasts, that I'd better ask before canabalising it... Thank you in advance, Ballendo P.S. If parting out is the answer, Would this printer's fuser section be a good candidate for a toner transfer/laminator?
