I'm just wondering if, overall, an intermediate epson or HP is better. for example, a HP 6520 or 5990. I know ink is not the same for these brands, and wonder if any of them performs better in this area. I'm thinking if it would be better to get new ink for my old HP 843c, or get a new printer, for example one of the above, which are good inkjet printers, for little more money... My 843c is 600ppp but maybe a new printer would give better results?
