HI Leon, That sounds much more desirable. And for through-hole plating, I think I recall that it requires some sort of "painting" (?) of a conductive material inside the holes first doesn't it? Graphite comes to mind, but I really don't know for sure. The chemical tinning would be great! I should have a URL somewhere about just such a solution.
