Just a thought, rather than wirewrapping a hypodermic needle and then soldering it to the waxpot, the point,tip and sleeve from a relatively cheap technical pencil (0.1mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm or 0.9mm) could be used? chic
