Parts > is parts in Eagle, it is the chicken nugget mecca of the CAD world.. It worked like a charm after turning on tOrigins. :) I didn't test exhaustively, but it appears only the origin cross is selectable for mirror. Otherwise, it flips something else nearby. (I mutter a lot when I use Eagle, so this isn't anything new or bad. It's just one more thing to keep in mind and mutter at.)
