Homebrew PCBs

Hi all.
Just wanted to give you my experience using the Brother HL5070 with
Press and Peel. I have been reading the threads with using the Brother
2040 so I believe that the toner is about the same. I can achieve
decent results with the Press and Peel transfer using my iron at the
highest setting and using oversized copper clad by about 30%. It seems
the toner needs a better temperature distribution so central areas
transfer better but as I get out to the edges of the board, the
transfer ability drops off very quickly. Hence the larger copper clad
gives you a larger central space.

Can somebody post what types of laser printers they are using and what
types of results they are getting? I am interested in:

1. Laser printer manufacturer and model number
2. Consistent transfer ability percentage
3. What type of track resolution you can achieve

Any help would be appreciated. I am thinking to buy a cheap laser
printer so I want to know which one would be the best for my homebrews.
