Use no-clean flux solder. The only problem with it is that the flux is less active than rosin flux making it difficult to get a decent joint on home-made PCBs. It works fine with tinned boards. It does leave a slight residue but that is much easier to remove than rosin flux, if you want completely clean boards. Leon
