If you use tinyurl simply also write the long url, if tinyurl fails one can still find it. Also, many people prefer to read where a url leads before going there. If you are as lazy as i am use opera to read your mail. There you can highlight text (even multiple lines) and right click, then selecting go to url, no matter if it is recognized correctly as URL, or not, or if only part of it is. That takes care of all URLs for me. ST
