There's a couple sites, if you get those extra long links, you can go 
there and paste them into a box and they'll code it into a nice little 
short one.

PS- I learned long ago to cut and paste the ends of those long ones 
when they get chopped off, but there's no telling what can happen to 
them in transit. ;)
