I have a Series III and I'm based in Derby, nearby ;-)

Cheers,

Hello,
I am a mature student studying for a HND in Sound Engineering
and Music Technology at Confetti Studios in Nottingham, England. I
am a big Art of Noise fan, I saw them live at Hammersmith Odeon as
featured on the Visible Silence video. With two fellow students, we
have been given the task of recreating Close (to the edit) for our
80's project. I have managed to source a lot of the samples used on
the track but I was wondering if anyone has any information that
would help to make it as authentic as possible. Thank you in advance.

Dave Head.

Hello Peter,
Thank you for replying to my message, I'm sorry it took
a while to get back to you but I had internet trouble and a mammoth
studio session on Friday. As a Fairlight owner I wonder if you could
give any advice to help us. Or would it be possible to send you some
audio that we have created for you to resample to give it some
authenticity. Or if we could be really cheeky would it be possible
to see your Fairlight in operation.

Thank you again,

Dave Head.
