These look really cool : I wish I felt confident that I could put my CMI III 9.34 in one.

On my back plane of my series 3 there are a few mods and extra wires that have been soldered on to the digital card cage backplane : ive always wondered what these are for :) 

Also ive idea how to move the disk drives etc, and i suspect this conversion would be beyond my technical skills.

Probably the limit of my ability would be putting an ipad in the empty case, with the VGA out wired to the video port, and the headphone socket wired to the stereo mix out :) 

Has anyone on the list ever done a conversion ? (not the ipad one :)

Keep in mind that this is for an MFX3, not a series III CMI, very very
different.
