Can CMI III load CMI IIx discs?

Can CMI III load CMI IIx discs?

I always assumed that a series 3 can read series 2 sounds, but I was looking through the series 3 manual and found no reference to an import procedure. Is this because they are directly compatible?

In my manual, it's described at chapter 13 : "Converting a CMI Series
II file for CMI III"

to convert a voice file from the floppy disk onto the current
directory, here is the command line :

     V23 /f0 filename.VC > filename.VC <CR>

Hope it helps

      Laurent.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
