Colin,

You sound very upset and I do not understand why.

I have not read that Peter said he 'handed it over' to Fairlight. To my
understanding he referenced to Fairlight.au for service regarding those
component that will make up the 30A (in particular the CC-1). Very much
like your PC sales person will refer to NVidia or Ati for service when
your video card breaks.

It is my understanding that Fairlight Instruments is a separate entity,
and not affiliated to Fairlight.au in any way. Other than the historical
connection and the goodwill of the name Fairlight (which works both ways).

The 17k price is quoted in Australian Dollars if I am correct. So after
conversion to Euros, GBP and USD that is a substantially lower number.
Whether that will put it in a marketable position will have to show by
sales numbers.

Regards,
Harald
