Anybody have a Series II?

Anybody have a Series II?

2008-11-13 by Tim Curtis

Does anyone on the list have a Series II?

I’d like to get a newer revision software to run on my Series I, but of course I can’t use the same software from my IIx. I’d really like to have Page R available on the Series I.

I’m also not sure exactly what revision I’m in need of, so if you can help me out with that info, it would be great as well.

Thanks!

Tim

Hi John –

It’s very similar in sound to the IIx. It came with a slightly different library. There’s a little less high end, but it still sounds like a Fairlight.

Truthfully, I get more use out of my IIx because of Page R. That’s why I’d really like to get a later software rev.

Hey Tim!

How would you compare the Series I to the IIx ?

I've never played with the Series I...

Just curious.
