Hi Billy,

You're welcome. One might indeed suspect that all the lights are on, but
you never know when something small will fix a bigger issue. Just wanted
to mention it as an option.

The battery you show seems perfectly ok for the job to me, in fact thanks
for the pointer, I have added it to my favorites so I know where to order
one, should I desire to. If needed you can bend the wires a bit to fit the
holes on the PCB. Just watch out for shortcircuits with the wires being
bent. The Ministry unit I have came with a completely different shape
battery soldered to the back of the PCB. I removed it just to prevent
leakage at any time, but this should illustrate that size does not
matter...

I made progress with my unit today, I re-seated the 356 and it worked, now
I have some other hickups with cards. But I'm getting there.

Re: Q133 card and lithium battery

2008-09-01 by billyrockplay

Hi Harald - fuses appear to be ok after visual inspection. Question; why are there 10 fuse
slots and only nine fuses present? Can't read what that extra slot is for. The others are
clearly marked.
Getting battery soldered onto card tomorrow and will report. Hopefully it will do the trick.
Does cmi control obviate the necessity for a functioning q133 card?
Thanks for your responses - going to check out that Maria Carey song now.
Peace
Billyrock
