I seem to remember that included among the documentation of my IIx was
a marketing document from the distributor listing a pretty good number
of Fairlight users. All that stuff is currently archived, so next
chance I get I will dig it out and you can see if it is useful.

Best list of Fairlight owners?

2008-07-27 by peter.vogel@vogelfamily.net

As I'm sorting through my Fairlight archives, I see a glaring hole is that I
don't have a good list of who actually owned Fairlights. Does anyone know
where the best list is to be found?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter.

There was a list compiled of the destination of series III systems
instigated by Fairlight, in I believe about 1985. The list was
compiled by Jenyne Thomas, a Sydney Fairlight IIX owner who was
brought onboard to help with marketing.

The list wasn't comprensive, as often only the distributer, not the
eventual owner was mentioned, although she did some great backround
investigations to find final recipients.

I have/had a copy of this list, however since moving continents a few
times, I no longer know where it might be.

I'll try to get in contact with Jenyne, an old friend, although I
haven't spoken to her for quite a few years...

I'll keep you all posted
