Hi Peter, I have two Delta 1010's (1 1010, 1 1010-LT) I've never encountered any noise issues, but actually they have worked flawlessly for me. I have them in 2 PC's running XP Pro. I've also installed the Delta Audiophile 24/96 in friend's PC's and they are a good card too (same Envy24 chip) for the buck. Their ASIO drivers and DirectX drivers are working nicely. I think the Envy24 is a great PCI AD/DA chip, VIA bought them and some motherboards are using variations of the Envy24 chip for on-board PCI sound. but just my 2 cents and my disclaimer that your mileage may vary ... :-) Dave --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Peter Connelly \(Core Design Ltd.\)" <PeterC@C...> wrote: > Can anyone recommend a decent sound card for my PC running Win XP (Pro).
