Alas, unknown to me (yet), but it sounds like a timing problem with the memory chips (which hold the wave data). It is unclear whether the problem arises with ONLY the 2Mb cards or with ANY of the 2Mb card combined with the 8 Mb cards. In the latter case, it definitely sounds like a timing problem to me. Try running with only the 2Mb cards as a test. If there is no problem, timing differences are most likely to be the cause. Regards, Harald.
