Right.  You don't need 2 HxC emulators -- each one can look like 2 drives.

I want to have a couple of switches to choose whether each drive select signal goes to the HxC or the old 8" drive.

In my setup now I have both 8" drives disconnected and the HxC is emulating both the left and right drives.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
