Hi all, I finally got my Series III shipped over from the UK to CT, but between me last using it a couple of years ago and this weekend the HD has given up the ghost. It won't even spin up. I've tried everything I can think of to get it running, but it looks like the bearings have seized and in my professional opinion it's Failed Under Continuous Testing (aka FUCT). Bah. So here's the request... Where / who can I get another scsi disk from that will work in there, a copy of the OS (can't remember the version it was running, but this chassis DOESN'T have the waveform supervisor card, so older code) and the base library (Plus as many of the "User" libraries as possible). I can't remember what I had on there, but I know there were a bunch of "Extra" sounds. Truth be known I never had chance to really sit down with it and get to grips with it in the same way I did with my IIx. Was planning on starting that process yesterday. :( I'm willing to pay if the source has rights to sell the OS and sounds, otherwise will be willing to barter with some good karma, one of the last 2 sealed (original) Digital Domain IIx sample CDs in existence and I'm also open to negotiation... Speaking of which, I have two 8" drives spare that are out of alignment, but with some care could be pushed back into service, as well as a box of unused 8" floppies. Any use to someone in a jam? Thanks in advance, Rob
