Fairlight-CMI

Hi there ! 

Its been a few years, and I have just got my fairlight out of storage. After the used reseating of cards etc, I eventually manged to the CMI to Boot, but shortly afterwards the display went off, having previously worked OK for 10 minutes. I have the VGA card replacement.

Is there anything that could stop the CMI displaying any vga signal at all due to interference from some other system part, or is it most likely the the card or daughterboard have just blown ? 

Any one with any ideas on anything i can try ?
