Ahh, that sounds like my Linn 9000 when I'm sampling kick drums.  Think that's why Bruce Forat came up with the Filter mod which also sounds great on Toms and Congas!  It's a neat little filter that really works wonders!

Is the the noise anything like "poink poink poink" noise on the bass

drums in this?
