Your Drive probably needs an alignment. Where are you located?

I’ve had to align two different drives in my Series 1. They’re not too bad if you have an alignment disk.

Well, one of the two floppydrives refuses to read discs.
I tried a brandnew cleaningdisc with isopropanol. (Thanks for the
cleaningdisk Frank R.)
It didn't help.

I soo much look forward to a new storagesolution..........
Lets hope the friendly guy I know is working on it succeeds very soon,
so I can finally start to enjoy working with the IIx, creating sounds
and storing them..... What a dream.

Any tips or suggestions for a quick fix are welcome.....

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
