If I understand your question correctly, after pressing (BLUE/+/-) just type
in "mfxload" from an OS9 shell, (could be "mfxsend" if some really old
software).

Also, I think if you just start the MFX application, this will load up the
MFX controller software too if the LCD says "Waiting for Software".

There is no way to dump the contents of one controller into another.

Hi Steve,

Greatful for your work!.

Okay to throw a question your way? Though i could totally understand a
personal memory purge after being engrossed in something for so long, cause
i do that with about everything.

On the chance:have a couple of mfx controllers that need the battery
replaced (i presume) error coming up is "program in non-volatile ram is
invalid, press blue-plus-minus to enter upload" so there's how to get the
mfx that needs it to receive, but how to send?

after changing the batteries, have one mfx that's good. is there a
way/command to rig a controller to controller dump of the program? or advice
on getting to from mainframe?

sorry if this something that seems obvious/my hesitence to experiment is
making it seem harder than it need be. Seems a pretty esoteric bit of
knowledge and hoping you might still remember?

In any case, thanks for all you've done.

Any old friends or work collegues out there?
