Hi Steve, I wouldn't sell mine under US 5000.- and some were sold around 6k so anything lower than that is a good price, depending on the state of the unit. It should definitely have a working pen, working screen and ASCII keyboard, and a basic library. If it comes in flightcases, the better. Ofcourse the music keyboard is part of the deal. If units are sold on ebay for 3k, remember that you usually pay a hefty fee for shipping or pickup as the units are very heavy and fragile. Cases are also expensive, expect to pay 1k for good new cases for the system unit, music keyboard and monitor. I recommend SKBs, they save you weight in shipping and are very sexy. SKB 5820W for the music keyboard works very well, they also stack properly into eachother in transit when flat. I also have Jan-Al cases for the music keyboard but although they are smaller, they weigh more because they are made of wood. Shipping without cases is a no-no. I have shipped units around the world and you easily pay over 1k for shipping. Taxes are on top of that. If you need to go and pickup, prices can double including airfares, car rentals and hotel costs, not to mention time. I'd budget on 8k for a unit shipped to your door, all included. best, Harald. > Hello does anyone have a cmi IIx for sale please, can anyone give me an > idea of what i should pay for one in good condition, thanks. > > > > > > > > Yahoo!
