Re: [Fairlight-CMI] Tears for Fears interview & system disk question

2004-10-05 by feldmann@xs4all.nl

Hi David,

I know, thanks. Peter Wielk has not confirmed it (see my other mail). I
really think he should confirm or deny statements regarding serial numbers
for units that are owned by group members, and even more so: by units that
are on sale. It is very easy for anyone to claim a glorious previous
ownership to up the price of a unit. It's a bit like a car. You want to
know who the previous ownerwas if it's presented as a 'famous person' car.

There are references to the previous owner(s) of my IIx in the
documentation that came with it, however the real sales list would be
quite interesting indeed.

I currently have far too little time for the systems, a real shame. I am
also still in the process of getting IIx system boot disks copied for
Fabio in Italy and currently only have the MFX2 operational. How can this
be done on a Series III MFX ?

Best regards,
Harald.
