Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I was wondering what people on this list use to
sync a VFX-SD sequencer to dump sequences into
a computer sequencer (Cubase, Logic, etc. ) since
sending any kind of MMC or MTC to a VFX will
reinitialize the VFX.
I realize the VFX uses only Song Position Pointer
for syncing......is there any workarounds or do I have to
buy a separate sync box to be able to do this ?

If getting an external sync box is my only option, what
does this list suggest ?
