My VFX sd has stopped operating .. No main/headphone output ... The heat sink is intense HOT .I opened it up and it appears that a component attached to the H-sink is in question .. the solder is all yellow in color .. no other components appear this way ... Its a Motorola 7812CT QKX14.... What is this , and any sugestions on how to repair .
