could also try a complete reset:
HOLD PRESET BUTTON AND PRESS SOFT #1 BUTTON
(UPPER LEFT CORNER OF SCREEN). RELEASE BOTH, PRESS YES AT THE
PROMPT
Of
course everything you programmed will be lost but that's what you said
anyway.
The
fact that you get a message "loading version 2.10"
indicates that your floppy's at least recognized
although it could still have errors. Have you used a DD
floppy?

Your ROM version (2.0) would appear to be compatible
with the O.S. version you are trying to load. So.........
As suggested in a recent thread as posted by Hans
Artmann, look at previous message #1322 which can be located in the August
messages. Your problem may very well be addressed in that
message.

Can you check and
see what your ROM version is?
Turn on your VFX-SD and press
the "Preset" and the "Master" buttons at the same time. You will see the ROM
version on your unit in the center of the screen.
Email that
to the Group so we can see if that may or may not be part of the problem.
That information will confirm that your ROM version is compatible with the
O.S. version you are trying to load.

Hi everybody ! and happy new
year !
I have a problem with my VFX -sd : my floppy disc was
destroyed so I have download the 2.10 version of the O.S. on
www.carthago-music.de. I can load programs etc, but when I load the O.S., my
synth make suddenly like a bug ! The screenplay shows "loading version 2.10"
and that's all : no way to carry on, go back or what else. I must restart
several times before my synth work again, all my presets are lost, and of
course, the O.S. is not loaded.
Does someone could help me ? Any
advise would be welcomed...
