Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hi !
first of all I would like to thank for all the replies I received on 
the "hardwireing keyboard boards deal" - I followed the instructions 
and the VFX-SD is working flawlessly ! GREAT !

I do not have my PC and VFX-SD located in the same apartment, and I 
read one post on this site saying that EDE is capable of transforming 
sysex files to VFX-readable format on disk (as I have used EDE to 
download from internet and install the latest sequencer OS via disk). 
However, EDE do not recognise my sysex-files, *.syx - Should I rename 
them or do I have to use another program (like EDM) ?
