Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hey people, does anyone have some simple as 123 tips for connecting 
Cubase SX3, via an EMU 1820,with my beloved VFXsd? and also some tips 
on using it with Cubase SX3. If someone would write a booklet on this 
subject I am guessing there would be some very greatful buyers. 
Specific issues of interest to me are, 
1. Setting up the midi connections in both Cubase and VFXsd.
2. How to Import my VFXsd sequences into Cubase SX3.
