I downloded the files now but when I click on install.bat it won't run. All I get is the massage "The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS". I clicked on ignore but but the MS-DOS screen closes and northing happens? I have now copied it on to a floppy but what do I do with it now? I want to get the sounds files I downloaded on to floppy so I can get them on the synth but this is proving to be a bit of a pain in the ????. --- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, tim sullivan <timsullivan@m...> wrote: > try > http://www2.pro-ns.net/~steve/fdvfx.zip > > > http://www2.pro-ns.net/~steve/fdvfx.zip. > > i think the period got in your url > > > > > > > tim sullivan > timsullivan@m... > www.digitraxs.com > > On May 5, 2005, at 12:14 PM, Bob S. wrote: > > > Worked for me....it just started downloading..... > > > > Bob > > Corona/Riverside, CA > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "numaniod2005" <numaniod2005@y...> > > To: <Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com> > > Sent: Thursday, May 05, 2005 8:58 AM > > Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Re: FreeDOS disk image? > > > > > > > Clicked on the link for this but all I get is the the message "this > > > Page cannot be displayed"???? > > > > > > > > > > > > --- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, Steve Wahl <steve@p...> > > wrote: > > > > > > > > > > Message: 2 > > > > > Date: Wed, 4 May 2005 06:37:57 -0700 > > > > > From: Joe McMahon <mcmahon@i...> > > > > > Subject: FreeDOS disk image? > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone still have this to upload to the files section? > > > Mine's gone > > > > > AWOL and EDE isn't working on my HP, no matter what > > compatibility > > > I > > > > > request. > > > > > > > > Excerpts from my previous email, web address still valid: > > > > > > > > > OK, here's how it can be done: I put together a version of > > > freedos > > > > > for anyone who needs it. http://www2.pro-ns.net/~steve/ > > fdvfx.zip. > > > > > It makes a floppy-bootable version of freedos that starts up > > with > > > a > > > > > ramdisk.
