I buy from Doug, I like the guy. He does honest business unlike some of the few companies that claim to sell Doepfer
products in the US but are buying directly from him and selling at an inflated rate. I have bought a lot of Doepfer from him
and years ago I bought my Sherman Filter Bank from him.

OFF TOPIC, COMMENTS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Regarding troops and the people that stick them in places they shouldn't be...

I support our troops, I don't support the president nor do I trust his extremely questionable motives behind the action.
But bottom line is those kids are doing their job and they have about as much choice in where they go and it seems you and
I had on who would end up in the White House.

I know people over in the region on both sides of this situation, I wish them all well.
I wish all of us well as we seem to have lost control of the direction of our country for the moment.

Totally off topic and humanitarian

Regarding supporting troops...

I don't support any kind of troops(theirs, yours and "ours") and I don't buy
that crap excuse "I only did my job". The law forced me to enlist at a time
and I questioned and disobeyed all orders that I found offensive such as "if
they don't stop when entering a secure zone - shoot". Beautiful as a cold
rock in february may be I certainly don't find it worth even one life. I got
the highest praise possible from a general. He told me that I never could
take even the simplest order without questioning and thus must be considered
totally unfit for military service. I wish he had given me that in print
cause I am very proud of that "medal" ;)

That lame excuse has been used since the stone-age and it was bad then, it
was bad when Romans raped their victims, it was bad when the Vikings raped
women all over, it was when the Spanish inquistion tortured people in the
name of God, it was bad when the Knights of England were crusading in the
middle east, it was bad when the Nazis tortured the jews, it was bad when
the Us troops dropped napalm on screaming children in Vietnam, it was bad
when Saddam gassed the Kurds in Iraq, it was bad when soldiers in Jugoslavia
raped women on both sides and it will be bad when Us...

The only guys I really admire at this time is the American girl that got run
over by a demolishion truck truck in Gaza last week and the dozen Swedes
that has gone to Iraq to act as human shields. I suppose there are people
from other countries doing the same but the news here has only shown the
Swedes that flew off yesterday. That is brave! Martyrs of today.

I fully agree with you about politicians They, for the most part,
are worthless cockroaches.

You site all the negative aspects of the military, and seem to think
that no soldier does anything but rape and plunder. What you ignore
is that an opposing military force stopped said mayhem. Does it also
make that military force immoral?

With all due respect, I pray you two never find your respective
countries in desperate need of the military.

Regards,
Kevin

Re: Totally off topic and humanitarian

I tend to think that use of military force for defence is something
different from use for an aggresive offencive war (as in this case).
It has begun, so shame on the world.

Let's stop this discussion before it gets out of hand like it almost
did last time. People don't have to agree, that's democracy as far as
I am concerned.

Peace!

Patrick
