I can't see anything on group about the Doepfer MIDI keyboards and wondering if anyone has them and can testify to if their construct is as rugged as their look? Like LMK-2 or PK88's? Thanks all, Lonnie

This is not really the topic of the group. As far as I know nearly all keyboards are made of the same manufacturer. 90% are made of a japanese factory and by the italian manufacturer Fatar. I am not really sure, but I think Doepfer uses Fatar. The case is rugged, as any case might be. Nevertheless as with all other keyboards extrem twisting strains of a 88 keys keyboard might cause a damage to the frame. I don't remember the actual models, but the former LMK Series had a socket panel, that was not very deep in the case, so the jacks could get bent over in the sockets.
