A190-2 or 3

Im trying to make my midi converter play legato, as in keep the hold on while any note is held. Anybody know how? Seems like it shouldnt be that hard but no matter what i try it doesnt want to work.

Also i think the manuel says that i should be able to program cv 4 to be a different cc# than the mod wheel. Ive been trying to switch it over to be aftertouch instead but i havent any luck. Any odeas?

The function is called retrigger on/off. Please refer to the user's manual
page 7 for details.

Aftertouch is not a midi controller. Only controllers (cc#) can be assigned
to CV4. Aftertouch is not possible.

Ok! I tried retrigger but in the manual it says it only extends the gate for a few microseconds and i wasnt quite sure what that meant. When i tried it i could not tell any difference between retrigger on or off so i wasnt sure if it was working. Is there a way a can tell if its on or off?

If retrigger is activated the gate is reset (not extended) for a few
microseconds if new note is played legato. That's exactly what is required
to retrigger the ADSR. The only way to find out if retrigger is "on" or
"off" is to play legato.
