hello !
i just saw the new faceplate design on the website and i thought the addition
of the hol / no hold switch to be even nicer ! would a usb connector be
sturdier than the din one ?
best,
dave

hi,
I don´t think USB is sturdier than the din connector, but the reason why Doepfer chose it might be the fact that the housing of the ribbon controller is only 1,5 cm (5/8 inch) high. A din connector won´t fit that size.
Or perhaps they didn´t want people to connect Midi-stuff to the Din-socket as this might damage the module (?)

Oops, I didn´t even realise the hold on/off switch. Nice, indeed.
