Re: Velleman MK107 LED kit sequencer

Hi Alan I built one of these (with a bit of extra direction from MirlitronOne - the guy in the video). I redesigned the enclosure to fit in with my gear. It works great with my modular. I was planning on powering it from the bus, but never got round to it. Should be fine I guess. It cost me about GBP 20 in all. You can see it sitting on top of my second LC9 in the picture here: http://synthesizerart.blogspot.com/2011/03/baby-got-holes.html Give me a shout off-list if you want any further info. Cheers Rich Hi Group, I was looking at this idea for making a basic CV sequencer using a cheap Velleman MK107 LED kit ( http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2009/11/10/make-a-music-sequencer-from\ -a-6-led-kit/ <http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2009/11/10/make-a-music-sequencer-fro\ m-a-6-led-kit/> ) and wondered whether this would work with a Doepfer system. Has anyone here tried it? I also wondered if it might be possible to power such a thing from my Doepfer busboard and mount it in my rack. Any suggestions? Cheers, Alan [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
