Right Angle IEC Power Cable to fit under A-100P6 case on its back?

Right Angle IEC Power Cable to fit under A-100P6 case on its back?

2011-05-07 by codotinc

I know I'm not the only one who has this problem -- why bother having feet on the back of the A-100P6 if you can't plug it in when it's lying down?

Has anyone found a power cable with a right angle of a low enough profile that they can plug in their case while it's lying down? I would like to be able to lie the case down when performing so audience can see what I am doing.

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Jon,

Those feet stem from the time that Doepfer fitted the power input in an 8hp
panel on the front.

I actually use an angled power cable for gigs. And I always use a roll of
gaffer tape underneath the case (on the top) so it is a bit angled towards
me. Much handier that actually having it flat..

Greetings,

Ernst

I have a couple of the original suitcases, and I cut a hole in the side of the box so that I could have the power coming out the side -- not sure why they decided to put the power in the back, for the reason that you mention.
