Doepfer

Hi

I want an A-185-2 Precision Adder module but am concerned about the combined voltage from multiple input sources accidentally adding too many volts and burning out a module connected to the outputs. Is there another Doepfer module that could limit the output?

beter ask Dieter to be sure, but i think that the a185-2 cannot output more than 12 volts (as 12 volts is the rail limit). 
so it cannot burn any other doepfer or euro module...

Exactly. The output voltages are limited to ~ -11V ... +11V as the max. output voltage of the operational amplifiers is about 1V less than the supply voltages (that's valid for all A-100 modules).
