I need someone to kindly help me. I want to use an a-190 midi interface, and have to install an ad5 power supply. I am afraid that I do it wrong and wreck my whole synth!

The instructions say that i have to install it into a free 16 pin connector on the bus, and that it will provide the extra +5V to the modules on that bus. 

But, what happens to the modules on the bus that don't need the +5V?

They simply do not pick the 5 Volts, because they neglect the connector 
pin that feeds the 5 Volts.
