hello !
i was hoping other people would be more enthusiastic about the a-197 but i 
concede i could be in error here. i can certainly understand your being 
"sequencer oriented" and i enjoy my a-155 and an. sol. sq8, too !  in my 
mind, i see the a-197 as a "conductors" interface - you would use it like a 
conductor blends an orchestra, playing the interface to add gestrural 
flourishes.  oh well.........

I am sure you and perhaps others find it useful. Lots of people get
beautiful tones from a violin I just get misery and headache... each to his
own. I am merely voicing an opionion to add some nuance to it. These thing
often get "yes, godly" or "way useless", the truth is often in between.
